David Howard Donald
David has over 40 years of experience in the production of live stage performances and events, radio syndication & broadcasting, post-production, production, 3D computer animation, digital special FX, engineering, and internet e-commerce businesses. A video editor, cameraman & director, David taught various video production and editing courses for Montreal's Dawson College Adult Continuing Education Center. In 1991, under David's direction, his company, DHD PostImage, won the bid to design, build, and install television production, post-production and SFX studios to service Major League Baseball (MLB), in Montreal's Olympic Stadium. Both the Pittsburgh Pirates and Toronto Blue Jays called it "..the best TV facility in MLB!"
During the 1990s, David commuted between DHD PostImage's studios in Montreal and Raleigh Studios, in Hollywood, providing both entertainment communities with 3D computer animation and digital special FX, as well as producing TV commercials for the South Korean marketplace.
From work on over a dozen National Geographic Specials, to the 25th anniversary of Sesame Street, to the national launching of Canada's 1st, First Nation Peoples' television network, TVNC - Television Northern Canada, David has worked extensively in the North American TV marketplace. In 1998, David shifted his focus to the internet and the creation of web sites, web video, e-commerce and fulfillment centers.
He and his wife, Anne Lee, currently run DHD Productions Inc., d.b.a. DHDTV.net. They continue their interests in documentary film making, science, art, music, spirituality, the Hawaiian culture, and making a difference in peopleʻs lives.
