Lani Kamau Yamasaki

Lani Kamau Yamasaki, a member of the FCA Team, is a Hawaiian cultural practitioner, whole systems/indigenous social economic development planner and consultant, educator, artist and writer. In 1996 she founded 'Ano'ano Aloha, Inc., a charitable federally recognized grassroots non-profit dedicated to community social economic development and creating sustainable living environments and communities in Hawaii. Translated, 'Ano'ano Aloha is Hawaiian for "seeds of life". Recipient of grants from The Office of Hawaiian Affairs, The Fund for Folk Culture, Pew Charitable Trusts and First Nations Development Institute.
